Alan Powell said: -  “We’ve become quite well-known as a centre for architectural and reclaimed items, with everything from church pews and stained glass to baths, doors and windows.  It’s great when a small rural business like ours is recognised for its professional contribution to preserving the heritage of our buildings.  Jean and I have had a lot of fun with Tommy and Will who have become firm friends”.

Whilst all this hard work has been going on, including the pressures of filming- Alan and Jean Powell who have been supporters of various charities decided to donate a garden statue to grace the gardens of the Shropshire & Mid-Wales Hospice. This gift was received by the Chairman of the Hospice- Mr Peter Poulson. Joining in the celebrations was Tommy Walsh, who has himself also been a supporter of the Hospice movement.
